Don't RUSH Me!
Two more major projects to finish up within the next day or two, and then I'm ready to make the dilutions for the kits. Yes, I know. I'm a little behind schedule. That's what I get for lining up too many projects at once. But as I've said before, I work better under pressure, even though it makes me want to scream and pull out my hair.
And, aside from those two projects, and the building of course kits, which once they are done are jetting off to points across the globe ASAP (because the course begins the 24th!), I have a soap making class to teach on the 22nd for which I need to make soap; two perfumes, one in the final stages of completion, and another in the beginning stages, to get done and marketed, and a magazine to put together (which was supposed to be done and done in April).
I've been lax on keeping up with LPR (Le Parfumeur Rebelle online education site) and I deeply apologize for that. It began with computer issues, then the magazine idea, and then general busy-ness kept me from making too many changes and additions to the site. Oh, and then life, y'know. Life? LPR needs a lot of updating. And revamping. And I suspect I will do all that, say, in June or July?
But right now all I really want to do is finish those perfumes and start on a couple of others still waiting to be born. And I want to liven things up here, on Oh, True Apothecary! So -- how about a giveaway? Let's say a 5 ml bottle of Sahar Eau de Parfum and a 5 ml bottle of Jameel Eau de Parfum? Sounds good. Leave a comment and use the word "procrastinator" in a sentence within your comment and you'll be automatically entered. I know, I make things so difficult . . . Good luck!

“Procrastination is the key to prolonging life”. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh a giveaway! I want to enter, so I'll just call myself a procrastinator (because that's what I am) - shopping is the only event where I don't procrastinate.
ReplyDeleteYes! I knew it! Thanks Marian, you're in the draw.
ReplyDeleteInes, I procrastinate at everything, even the stuff I enjoy -- delayed gratification? I don't know.
ReplyDeleteYou're in!
i am a procrastinator about everything but procuring awesome natural fragrances, esp from the Scented Djinn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny coincidence, I am a *huge* procrastinator!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a procrastinator when it comes to folding clothes. Maybe if they smelled like perfume i would fold them faster.
ReplyDeleteLOL, if there was a masters/graduate degree in procrastination, I'm pretty sure I could call myself Dr by now....
ReplyDeleteH
Love the face lift on the blog
ReplyDeleteIf you wait until the last minute to do stuff, it'll only take a minute!
ReplyDeleteI procrastinate less than I used to, but what has always complicated it is that I am thinking about this stuff allll the time, so in a sense I am not really putting anything off. I dunno if that is a specifically Gemini trait, or what it is. It seems to run in my family like procrastination does among all the creative folks.
If being a procrastinator was an Olympic Sport, I'd have a gold medal.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the drawing!
Blessings of focus and discernment to the procrastinator in all of us!
ReplyDeleteThis procrastinator would like to be entered into the draw. :-) Sorry I'm not more creative with words. Maybe I'll start working on that tomorrow.
