New Perfume ~ Father's Day Giveaway

I know, a day late and a dollar short, that's me! But here it is anyway, the Father's Day Giveaway ~ a new perfume by The Scented Djinn called . . . um, hmmm, looks like it's listed in the formulation book as 'love juice', but, well, I don't think that's a very Djinn worthy name. It's very manly smelling, like dad's Brut and kiss of fine florals (hey, this stuff smells amazing on women, by the way -- I'm wearing it to work).

I used my fougere base in it, so understandably, it's a fougere. It's made up of oakmoss tincture, ambrette, vintage benzoin, tonka, vanilla, lavender mailette, carnation absolute, clary, wheat grass tincture, mountain misery, cassia, santal, vetyver, bergamot, tuberose and cocoa absolutes.

It's very . . . heavy and sensual, smooth like velvet. Sexy.

So, if you have a sexy dad, or know a sexy dad, or want your kids to have a sexy dad, toss your name in the hat for this giveaway to win The Scented Djinn's sexy man parfum not called love juice.

8 mls in that pretty green flacon (tiny silver funnel not included).

If Canadians qualify please enter me into the giveaway for the "sexy man parfum not called love juice". My father, sadly, is long-deceased, but there is someone I'd love to share it with and of course I'd love to try it myself.

I was looking back at a number of your previous posts and am fascinated to see in "Oodles of Fun" that La-Mar Laboratories ad for its "reducing soap". Not that I assume truth in advertising, but what on earth would have been in that stuff -- and could you make some? ;-)

Look forward to reading more about your gardenia enfleurage.

    1. Well, you are correct about not believing in the truth in advertising -- this company was sued for misrepresenting its products (I don't know how I fall down these rabbit holes where all this information is stored) -- I love old quack advertising.

I'm sorry to hear about your father. Mine too has passed, but I remember him with great fondness. He was 'the man'! Anyway . . .

      Good luck, Lindaloo!

    1. Hi HJ! No, you're not too late to enter the draw -- I posted the draw late, so the timeline is moved a bit. Yesterday was Father's Day here in the states.

Nice to 'hear' from you :)

    2. Hello again! Yes I've been 'off the grid' for a while but have found myself scribbling notes about essence combinations whilst at work, and noting different essences emanating from my treasure trove each time I walk into the study... it would appear I'm finding my way back! :)

Hope all is well for you J!
      Big hugs,
