Charity

Good things are in the works. With a recession looming, and people returning to work, exhausted by Zoom meetings and online communication, me and mine are preparing to hunker down as we look to the future and the potential we see in others. Way back 'in the day', I single-handedly ran a little online rag called Le Parfumeur Rebelle. The Rebel Perfumer. I wrote articles, conducted interviews, provided links to information and education, helped my peers with advertising, and asked for zero payment or investment on their part except for their time. It was truly a labor of love. At the time, that rag was a touchstone for many of the natural perfumers today who have made it. This concept has circled back around and I and my cohorts are seeking a way to help support our peers, to help the newly educated in a way that doesn't require a huge investment on their part, to donate money or goods and services to struggling natural perfumers, to be the change we want to see in the world. This idea is still forming, and it will take time to come to fruition, but we are fighting our hardest to make it true. Oh, and despite the worldwide burnout, online is here to stay.
